Simplanova customer , The NBN Group, LLC, was aware of a couple of tool options in the market, which helps developers to create Dynamics NAV reports, but they required that the client purchase a license in order to use those solutions. It was not what the customer was looking for. A developer at The NBN Group, LLC became aware of the Simplanova Report Designer when he received an email from the Simplanova sales team. SRD was what he was looking for.
I liked that SRD doesn’t require the client to purchase anything additional. Once the reports are created, they can be modified by the client using the standard RDLC tools or they can be modified by the consultant using the Simplanova Report Designer. This is a great option for a Solution Center to create reports for clients that only need a handful of custom reports and who don’t need to purchase a license for an extra report writer
